Reference data

1. What these figures are

Reference modules show estimates or register totals already published by national statistics, immigration, or education bodies. We translate, round, and tabulate for readability and link to primary sources. Huaren World does not create or publish the underlying official statistics.

2. Copyright and citation

Factual statistics are often citable with attribution; wording, charts, and agency branding remain subject to each source’s terms. Do not treat our pages as authorized or certified by any government or statistical office. When reusing our summaries, keep the source link and the definition column.

3. Accuracy and updates

Data is maintained manually and may lag official releases. Year-by-year rows are upserted into MySQL snapshot tables (country + data year); list and trend views read that series first, with inlined Worker data as fallback if the DB is empty. Email corrections with country, source link, and figure.

4. Versus registration counts

Country/city pages show site sign-ups only; public reference stats live on dedicated overseas-Chinese and international-student pages and are not mixed on the same screen. Do not combine the two.

5. Not professional advice

Do not rely on reference figures alone for immigration, visa, study, employment, investment, or legal decisions. Definitions differ by country; read each row and the linked publication before comparing countries.

6. Compliance note

Laws on redistribution, immigration-related messaging, and consumer protection vary by jurisdiction. If you reuse our content commercially or in a public-facing service, consult local counsel. Using the site means you have read the Terms of use and Privacy policy.
